Having a good oral hygiene is indicated by having clean teeth and free from food particles, gums do not bleed or swell and it is pink in color and bad breath is not a problem.
Having bleeding, swollen, red gums and bad breath are signs that you are experiencing a gum disease. One common reason that gum disease occur because of poor oral hygiene. Periodontal disease such as receding gums, gingivitis, bleeding gums and at its worse tooth loss may occur.
Having a good and proper oral hygiene is an important thing in ensuring that you will have healthy teeth and gums. Good oral health is necessary in your overall health and well being. Brushing and flossing ways in preventing gum disease progression.
