It is a known fact that Omega-3,fish oil,and fatty acids are the secret to youthful skin. You could have skin that receives continuous moisture, healthy and smooth – youthful skin. A side from the Japanese diet, almost all other cultures are lacking in essential fatty acids (species of fish oils). The fatty acids are essential in the oil producing glands in your skin.

Fish Oil and The Sun

Studies have shown that after taking fish oil supplements over a period of time that individuals become less sensitive to UV ray exposure. Never the less, I highly recommend topical sunscreen be applied before leaving the house. I love the sun, but too much exposure could cause skin damage and other more serious issues. Another study of 50 people with psoriasis who took EPA with their medications did better than those who just took medication alone. Other studies show no difference in sun protection when taken with fish oil.

Fish Oil Supports Skin Health

Fish oils support skin health. There is a link between Omega-3,fish oil,and fatty acids and skin health. Most people who use Omedga-3 do so for better skin and health. Studies have shown that after using fish oil that it lessens wrinkles and firms the skin.

External and Internal Benefits

Did you know that fish oil has polyunsaturated fats, which helps replace fat lots in the skin, which could lead to skin dryness or excessive flaking? Some regions of the country that gets strong winds or intense sun could cause more damage to your skin. However, over time your skin could benefit from the healing powers of fish oil.

Other skin conditions that could benefit from the use of fish oil are:

- Eczema;
- Dermatitis and as discussed earlier;
- Psoriasis.

These conditions benefit from the anti-inflammatory qualities of fish oil. The internal impact of this supplement to our health have been life saving. However, I recommend not just an internal regimen, but an external topical applied skin care product as well. This combination will best provide the needed nourishment that your skin craves with eye appealing results.
